Please pardon probable inattention and sparse, if any, entries in the next few weeks. A swell of biz and other mundane & deadlines have swamped my boat a bit ... as well as the death of my elderly mum on Wednesday. (She was looking forward to the embrace of the Christ she loves.)

My thoughts are with you.
Take care and time.

I'm sorry to hear about your mom. Yet, I hesitate to say sorry because, even though we wish our loved ones stayed around forever, we rejoice with them when they "depart to be with Christ, which is better by far" (Philippians). Nonetheless, I'll be praying for you and your family.

Thank you very much inc.

Dr Stephen. Welcome. There can't be many of us in the club of this name! Should I look into a fishing trip next time I visit the US of A? And yes if not for my own hope in Chirst I would 'of all people most miserable'.

Why certainly. I'd even be happy to take you.

That blog though, it's kind of like a stopper I can pull when I become creatively backed up, so to speak. Not intended to be high quality writing.

I do write poems on very rare occasions. I'll have to send them to you so you can tell me if I should stop trying to write them. :)

I was just about to quote Philippians too.

Difficult as it is to farewell a parent, it is of course best for them to finally go to their true home -- where we will see them again.

God bless you and all the family.
